Ancestor Italian Drop Spindle 1
This is my take on the classical italian drop spindle.
So far I have made only replicas of the antique ones I own, this time I decided to add a modern twist and my own touch to them.
The design is inspired by my latest addition to the herd, a spindle much smaller than the ones I have found so far. I think it works very nicely to spin a fine thread.
A design dedicated to the Ancestors, carrying the symbol of the Root Chakra on the belly.
The Root Chakra is an energy center located at the base of the spine; it holds your personal power, will to live, your sense of grounding and belonging to the human family. It also holds the stories of your Ancestors.
