Spindle Pendant - Sterling Silver - MADE TO ORDER
Working with fibers, and especially spinning wool, is such a big part of my inner harmony. It is meditation, prayer.
It connects me with the long lineage of people who did it before me - ancestors by blood and ancestors by craft.
A few days ago I read a sentence, that said that while healing ancestral trauma, to not forget that the ancestors also passed strength and good things down to you.
This is how this spindle was born, from silver sheet and wire, thinking about those who came before me, that still live in me and borrow me their force.
The thread wound around the spindle is a reminder of this connection.
Each spindle is made by hand, starting from sterling silver sheet and wire that is cut and shaped, soldered and filed, so each spindle is slightly different from the other - the beauty of handmade!
